I am a QLD author, editor and librarian/archivist with a love of history. I have written more than 20 books, for adults and children. Four of my books have been shortlisted for literary awards.

Her books for adults include:

  • Three Times Buried

  • The Killer’s Game

  • Ship of Death: The Tragedy of the ‘Emigrant’ (2019) - shortlisted for the Frank Broeze Memorial Maritime Prize 2021.

My children’s books include:

  • The Australian Bushrangers series (2014, 5 titles). ABIA shortlist for Captain Thunderbolt.

  • Tommy Bell, Bushranger Boy series (8 titles). Shoot-out at the Rock on the CBCA notable list 2017; The Runaway shortlisted for a Speech Pathology Australia award 2019.

  • Carly Mills, Pioneer Girl series (4 titles).
